Setting Up

All Setting Up options are contained in the Options menu. presented as tabbed pages.

Across the top of the screen are displayed the five main groups of functions.

Open each by clicking with mouse File. Program, View, Options and Help

A.Options

1. Open Options menu and click on "General"

1. Click "Fahrenheit" Click all "Prompts" except "Use short filenames" Click "OK"

2. Open Options menu and click on "COM Port"

3. Click "Use this COM Port" when using 232 Reader connection OR

Click "Look for USB Reader" when using USB Reader connection Click "OK"

1. Click " Program" Click " Stop Logger" If error message received:

2. Click "Re-use Logger" If error message received:

3. Click "Parameters"

. Input Recorder Start Date and Breeder Age @ Start - DO NOT ENTER PASSWORD

5. Input 15 minutes in Sample Period - Input :10 seconds in Start Delay

6. Input Upper Limit Target Degrees - Input Lower Limit Target Degrees

7.Click "Loop Overwrite""Start with button" & "Allow Markers" in Enables All other boxes must be Blank!

8.Click "OK"- Press"Start Button" on logger placed - Note start flashing light

1. Open Options menu and click on "Statistics"

2. Check "Show TTV Statistics" & "Show Brief TTV Statistics Only"

3. Place in "Lower & Upper" limits for each age of production. (7 or 16 periods)

4. Place in "Period Duration 1:00" - Place in "Periods to Show" (7 or 16 periods)

5. Click "OK" -
